Coffee at the Museum

Don’t miss our February Coffee at the Museum!

On Thursday, February 22nd, (At 10:00 AM) Author Dave Dowdy will be presenting "Rules by Which a Great Army May Lose a War: The Southern Department". Mr. Dowdy will detail how, during the American Revolution, the British Army found early success in their battles in Georgia and South Carolina, but started to break down as they moved up country to North Carolina, marking the beginning of the end for them.

Mr. Dowdy, a retired engineer, actively promotes local colonial and early nineteenth century history. He has written a four-part murder mystery series as well as a historical fiction novel, “Zebulon’s Oath: A novel of the Carolinas in the Revolutionary War during 1780-1781.”

Admission is free and open to the public. We hope to see you there!
