HELP US CREATE A PATHWAY TO HISTORY ONE BRICK AT A TIME!

A selection of bricks at the start of the sidewalk between the museum’s front door and West Meeting Street.

The History Museum of Burke County’s Pathway to History is a perfect way to honor your loved one or organization!

The sidewalk to the front door of the History Museum adjacent to West Meeting Street is paved with bricks honoring individuals, ancestors, organizations, groups, and more from all throughout Burke County.

You have the opportunity to add your name or the name of your ancestor, organization, or other entity to a brick on the Pathway to History. Just complete the form linked below, and enclose your contribution of a minimum of $125 for each brick. The Museum also accepts credit cards for your convenience, at the Museum only.

The donations for bricks further enhance our ability to meet our needs as a non-profit history museum serving the community. The Pathway to History provides an place for you to leave the name of a loved one, a special person, an ancestor, a special group, or your organization engraved in a brick in the pathway. A permanent plaque has been placed at the site indicating that the brick pathway is honoring those who have been a part of our history in some way.
