Featured guest speaker will be Lemar Smitherman, outreach and industry relations associate for the North Carolina School of Science and Math in Morganton. He will update us on the school’s opening and its importance to the community.

“The school will be a game changer for Morganton, Burke County, and all of Western Carolina,” Smitherson says of the school. “The program is a great opportunity to learn about the impact the school will have on the local community and economy.”

The event is open to the public and refreshments will be served.
