Coffee at the Museum

The featured speaker will be Rich Justice, Mayor of Rhodhiss. He will speak about the town’s plan for celebrating  the manufacturing of materials used in the making of the flag planted on the moon in 1969. This was accomplished by Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldridge, the first to walk the moon. The presentation is open to the public and is free. Refreshments will be served. Mayor Justice will be expressing his pride in the part the town experienced after manufacturing the material used in the flag. In 1995 a NASA administrator presented to the town a plaque with a NC Flag that had been flown to the moon and back on Apollo 16.
