The History Museum will be closing at 2:30 PM on November 11, 2026 to view a free showing of “The High Price of Victory” at Mimosa Theater. This award winning documentary focusses on the feelings, insights, and memories recalled by the veterans interviewed as they tell their own stories and share experiences of World War II. This movie was directed by Morganton’s Louis Asbury, who sits on the board of directors at the History Museum of Burke County.. Please join us for this special event on Veterans Day. Movie begins at 3:00 PM.
